Your Role as a Tax Specialist As a Tax Specialist at H&R Block, you will be part of an expert team that will provide comprehensive tax training to help you succeed. Enjoy the flexibility and potential for additional earnings while crafting your own unique work-life balance. Conduct face-to-face and virtual tax interviews with clients Prepare accurate and complete tax returns Drive business growth, improve client retention, and promote additional products and services Offer IRS support to clients as needed Collaborate with your team to achieve office goals Enhance your tax knowledge and expertise Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field Prior experience in customer service or retail Experience in a fast-paced, supportive atmosphere Availability to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with potential for 40 hours during peak periods What You'll Bring Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course Comfort working in dynamic environments Proficient use of virtual communication tools Strong communication skills, both in person and through various digital formats Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements High school diploma or equivalent Why Work with Us?
