The Enterprise Information Display System (E-IDS) is a transformative project currently under development to provide modern auxiliary information displays to Air Traffic Controllers within the National Airspace System (NAS). E-IDS aims to consolidate various legacy IDS systems into a unified platform, delivering controllers with accurate and consistent information critical for effective air traffic operations across over 400 NAS facilities, including En Route, Terminal, Tower, and Offshore domains. Description Noblis is seeking dedicated Air Traffic Control Specialists to support the FAA's Air Traffic Systems and Surveillance Services. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to assist the FAA in coordinating air traffic requirements and operations. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level analysis to aid the FAA in developing site implementation and transition plans for various facilities and equipment projects. Assist the FAA in identifying, analyzing, and resolving implementation issues arising from Capital Investment Plan initiatives. Coordinate technical interchange meetings and participate in program reviews as necessary. Facilitate workgroup activities for En Route and Oceanic program offices and support the development of air traffic requirements. Help with requirements verification and tracking for new Air Traffic Control tools and systems. Identify potential inconsistencies and usability issues related to any ATC system changes. Analyze system and subsystem specifications, ensuring operational concerns are addressed and technical requirements are met. Offer recommendations and solutions for short and long-term program planning requirements. Demonstrate expertise in air traffic control procedures, equipment, terminology, and technology to support business case development and investment planning. Assist in developing training requirements. Classify and summarize data for report preparation and submission regularly. Communicate complex air traffic control knowledge clearly to varied audiences. Collaborate with user teams, system engineers, and program personnel as needed. Required Qualifications Extensive experience as a domestic or oceanic air traffic controller within an En Route or Terminal environment. Relevant air traffic control training and/or certifications. Familiarity with Air Traffic Control, Navigation, Flight Information, and automation systems, including ERAM, TAMR, STARS, ASDE-X, ADS-B, ASOS, TFMS, TFDM, and TBFM. Experience in acquisition and program management for FAA projects or similar organizations is necessary for mid-level positions. Must successfully pass an FAA background investigation and receive a final suitability determination. U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status with at least 3 years of residency in the U.S. Ability to obtain FAA Suitability. Willingness to travel as required by project needs. Educational and Experience Requirements Relevant work experience will be evaluated thoroughly. Mid-level At least 10 years of full-performance level experience in Air Traffic Control and a completion of a High School diploma. A Bachelor's degree in any field can substitute for 5 years of experience. Desired Qualifications Ability to work independently and collaboratively; proactive and solution-oriented with strong time management skills. Excellent communication and decision-making abilities. Meticulous attention to detail with the capability to maintain thorough records. Aptitude for analyzing information and drawing conclusions. Proven collaboration and program management skills in fast-paced, mission-oriented environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Customer-focused and goal-oriented. Recent FAA experience within the past year. Current FAA suitability.
