As an intern at Disney, you'll play a crucial role in fostering magic and innovation. Internship Dates The internship is scheduled from June to December 2026. What You Will Do As part of the Worldwide Safety team, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure the safety and well-being of both cast members and guests. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting safety, health, and sanitation audits, documenting findings, and assisting in the creation of corrective action plans. Performing field surveys, including indoor air quality assessments and ventilation surveys, reporting findings, and developing mitigation strategies. Creating Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to address specific safety requirements related to engineering controls, equipment specifications, and training. Supporting the facilitation of safety and wellness committee meetings. Assisting in the development of safety and wellness training materials. Helping with incident investigations, developing action plans, and assessing follow-up actions. Analyzing incident data to identify trends and proposing mitigation strategies. Participating in design review meetings to provide safety and health feedback. Contributing to special projects as needed. Assisting in the maintenance of documentation. Other duties may be assigned as required. Required Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. A valid US driver's license. Flexibility to work various shifts based on project needs. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. Preferred Qualifications Completion of the Disney College Program or a previous Disney Professional Internship is highly desirable. Education Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Post Graduate degree program at an accredited college/university, focusing on Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Current status as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student by internship start date. Preferred Education A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (not rounded) as reflected on your transcript. Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and actively pursuing a degree. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess unrestricted work authorization. Current Disney Interns may work only for one consecutive year (12 months) across any combination of internships and/or programs. Additional Information Must follow Disney Look appearance guidelines. Able to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend or holiday shifts as necessary, up to 40 hours per week, primarily during traditional office hours (8 am - 5 pm). Reliable transportation to and from work is required. Limited housing opportunities may be provided for Florida-based professional interns. Compensation The pay rate for this role is $22.50 per hour for undergraduate students and $30.40 per hour for graduate students, with select benefits available as part of the compensation package.
