Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 04/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Pediatric Outpatient We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a pediatric outpatient setting. The SLP will provide speech therapy services to help patients improve communication, swallowing, and functional speech abilities while supporting rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans and select appropriate therapy modalities to meet established patient goals. Provide speech therapy treatments to support rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, and communication disorders. Evaluate patient progress and assist with discharge planning when appropriate. Conduct and assist with therapeutic patient activities and maintain accurate records. Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans based on age-specific, cultural, and rehabilitative needs. Ensure compliance with hospital licensing, accreditation standards, and Speech Therapy Practice Act requirements. Delegate patient treatment procedures appropriately when required. Maintain department productivity standards. Provide thorough, timely, and professional patient care. Follow all compliance policies and Code of Conduct standards and report concerns when necessary. Required Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and staff Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and treatment modalities Ability to administer therapy programs appropriate to the age of the patients served Education Required: Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology Licensure / Certification Required: Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of California Required: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience Preferred: Hospital or healthcare experience Additional Information Pediatric outpatient setting Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (not required) Towne U.S. LLC Job ID #17920240.
