HR Generalist | Full-Time | Fort Lauderdale, FL (33323) Im partnering with a growing organization in Fort Lauderdale (33323) thats adding an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and employee relations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being in the details while partnering closely with leadership across the business. What youll be doing: Support and administer company-wide HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with federal and state regulations. Promote positive employee relations through clear communication, policy interpretation, and consistent practices. Partner with department leaders on recruiting, hiring, and workforce planning. Coordinate onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including reporting insights to leadership. Support training programs, performance management, compensation processes, and employee development initiatives. Maintain HR systems, employee files, and records with accuracy and confidentiality. Oversee timecards, PTO tracking, overtime, and payroll-related changes including new hires, terminations, and pay updates. Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee transitions. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and HR regulations. Prepare HR reports and support leadership with data and insights as needed. What theyre looking for: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 2-3+ years of progressive HR experience in a hands-on generalist role. Working knowledge of national HR laws, labor regulations, and compliance. Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR systems. Comfortable supporting leadership while also executing day-to-day HR operations. Highly professional, ethical, and people-oriented, with strong communication skills. Organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
