Manufactuing Quality Inspector

Manufacturing Quality Inspector Snelling is currently seeking a Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspection and documentation of raw incoming material (metal, steel, plastic, etc) with manufacturing experience. Duties and Responsibilities: Inspection of Incoming Material Products include raw materials (steels, plastics, and other materials), and inspection includes various machined and surface treated parts using various manual gauges (calipers, height gauge, bore gauge, surface tester, and other gauges) Document inspection results in the inspection quality module, write Supplier non-conformances using the inspection quality module Sort, quarantine, and label materials Perform first article inspection on in-house machined components as directed Perform/support other inspection tasks, with appropriate direction, such as CMM operation as needed Write and process suspect material reviews Communicate with suppliers as needed Work closely with CMM lab and the purchasing department to address supplier/internal concerns Able to solve product quality issues and assess inspection protocols Support ISO 9001 QMS Support the company's strategic goals and values Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of working experience in a quality environment and a manufacturing environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Familiar with ISO 9001 procedures required Strong drawing, reading / GD&T skills required Experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, and other measuring instruments Excellent communication skills (internal and external) Experience with quality software preferred This position is a Direct-hired opportunity and requires a resume sent to .
