Summary: The Enterprise Network Engineering team at Meta is responsible for the design, construction, and management of one of the largest enterprise networks globally. Networking is fundamental to all Meta products and experiences. We are inviting Network Engineers who are eager to tackle complex technical challenges across Enterprise Datacenters, Security, and AI Network domains. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a multi-vendor, multi-protocol enterprise network. Collaborate with NetSec teams to create and continually enhance security improvements. Design, implement, and oversee high-performance datacenter networks that support AI workloads, including Infiniband and RoCE technologies. Analyze networking data to develop capacity models and performance metrics aimed at enhancing network reliability and resiliency. Create automated solutions to manage network events efficiently and streamline operational tasks. Focus on optimizing network performance in every possible aspect. Minimum Qualifications: Over 4 years of experience with Layer 2 Switching protocols, including enhancements such as STP, LACP, and 802.1 protocols. Proficient in Layer 3 Routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, and VRFs. Experience with stateful firewalls, non-stateful filtering, and packet inspection. Strong programming skills to automate and enhance network functionalities. Preferred Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4, and IPv6. Experience with Routing Protocols (VXLAN/EVPN, OSPF, BGP, or equivalent). Background in Datacenter networking specifically for AI workloads (Infiniband, RoCE). Understanding of security hardening, credential management, and compliance standards. Familiarity with access control and maintaining platform integrity in large-scale environments. Experience with automation tools for network configuration and monitoring. Experience working with major Enterprise network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Infiniband, Nvidia).
