Advancement Packaging Test & Development (APTD) Manufacturing Technician Become a part of Intel's Advance Packaging Team by joining the APTD Substrate Wafers & Assembly organization. APTD performs functions associated with all substrate production including operations equipment process and training and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Collect and evaluate operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Be responsible for running lots in an efficient and qualitative manner. In charge of some preventive maintenance troubleshooting spares and sustaining. Be responsible for improvement processes troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line and reviewing technological health and stability. Participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. Additionally in this role, work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work. Aside from the qualifications provided below, the ideal candidate shall possess the following behavioral traits: Adaptability and Judgment: Demonstrates the ability to navigate tasks of varying complexity, applying limited judgment to routine assignments while exercising broader judgment and innovative thinking for complex, nonstandard projects. Responsiveness to Guidance and Independence: Shows a balance between following general instructions for routine work and seeking detailed guidance for new tasks, while also working independently within broadly defined parameters to complete assignments effectively. Shift Hours: Employees working in Shift 6 start their shift at 6:00 PM and finish at 6:18 AM Alternating Work Weeks: 3-Day Work Week and 4-Day Work Week Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. Minimum requirements: STEM Science or Technology or Engineering or Mathematics certification, associate's degree with 1+years of experience - OR- Bachelor's degree in STEM - OR- 6+years of related experience in manufacturing or military. Preferred Qualifications: 6+ months of prior experience in the following areas: Electronics equipment troubleshooting, installation repair and operation of semiconductor manufacturing technology.
