CT Technologist – Day ShiftGreat Lakes Medical Imaging (GLMI)Reports to: CT ManagerStatus: Non-ExemptPay Range: $26–$38 per hourDeliver Advanced Imaging with Compassionate CareGreat Lakes Medical Imaging is seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to join our CT team. This role provides high-quality CT imaging while supporting an exceptional patient experience throughout their visit. The CT Technologist works collaboratively across departments and performs a variety of duties beyond imaging, including patient communication, documentation, and team support.Why You'll Love Working at GLMI Day shift schedule with consistent hoursCollaborative, team-oriented work environmentFocus on patient-centered care and clinical excellenceValues-driven culture guided by the Great Lakes WayOpportunity to work with advanced CT technology Key Responsibilities Perform CT examinations as ordered by referring physiciansAssist with CT-guided Interventional Radiology proceduresStart IV lines using proper techniqueCommunicate with patients regarding medical history, symptoms, and proceduresAccurately enter and verify data in the Radiology Information System (RIS)Verify physician orders and follow GLMI CT scan protocolsPerform daily quality assurance testing with documentationMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environmentEnsure patient safety, comfort, and modesty at all timesAssist fellow technologists, including support with DR X-ray procedures as neededRestock supplies and maintain inventory listsOperate CT equipment (Siemens & GE), power injectors, PACS/RIS systems, and related technologyWork overtime as needed What We're Looking For Associate's degree in Applied Science, Radiologic Technology from an ARRT-approved programNew York State Radiologic Technology License or valid temporary licenseARRT Certification in CT (or within one year of training completion per GLMI policy)Valid BLS CertificationExperience with radiology and medical terminologyStrong communication, customer service, and technical skills Physical & Mental Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipmentAbility to stand, walk, sit, and use a computer for extended periodsAbility to communicate clearly with patients in person and by phoneAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environmentAbility to make decisions and think quickly Apply TodayIf you're passionate about delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care, we'd love to hear from you.
