RxBenefits is excited to announce an opportunity for a Lead Financial Analyst to join our expanding Pricing Team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Financial Analytics. This position can be performed remotely or at our Birmingham, AL headquarters. The Lead Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving the success of RxBenefits. This position emphasizes strategic pricing responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), conducting Comparable Analyses, and generating various ad hoc reports that are essential in securing new business opportunities. This role is designed for an individual who values accuracy, collaboration, and strategic decision-making, and will include mentoring junior staff and supporting leadership on complex business functions. Key Responsibilities Include: Facilitate strategic and cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on business objectives and operational efficiencies. Supervise and prioritize workload distribution for optimal resource allocation and timely project delivery. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity and compliance across departments. Design, implement, and lead training initiatives, introducing new hires to their responsibilities and company policies. Revise and enhance training materials to promote ongoing employee development and retention of knowledge. Serve as a dedicated mentor for 1-2 junior team members, providing guidance and best practices to facilitate their career growth. Manage updates to pricing templates and identify opportunities to streamline processes for improved efficiency. Conduct accuracy reviews and aid the leadership team on pricing updates across partner PBMs. Create and deliver insightful ad hoc reports on various business topics to support key decision-making processes. Act as a Subject Matter Expert and resource for complex and high-profile Business Development territories. Utilize a consultative approach with internal teams to gather comprehensive information on new opportunities. Perform thorough analyses of claims files for accurate repricing and clinical product modeling. Demonstrate expertise in repricing processes and their applicability to various business models. Utilize your rigorous analytical skills to apply appropriate pricing schemes for new business opportunities. Review existing vendor and PBM contracts to understand their relevance to our analysis and modeling. Leverage insights from repricing and formularies to tailor financial analyses for prospective clients. Communicate any critical gaps in information that may impact the quality of financial analyses and recommend solutions. Support the SPA and RFP writer in completing full RFPs with a focus on repricing and disruption reports. Stay adaptable to changes within RxBenefits PBM drug lists and their implications on formulary designs. Assist in generating ad hoc reports for various stakeholders to address queries related to member impacts and urgency. Verify new RxBenefits product offerings through proprietary analytics systems to ensure current Financial and Clinical modeling accuracy. Coordinate with Implementation for disruption analyses and other ad hoc reporting needs. Utilize Salesforce for tracking opportunities from inception to completion. Required Skills / Experience: 4-5 years of experience in pharmacy financial analysis. 4-5 years of experience within a Pharmacy Benefit Manager. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables). Strong attention to detail and exceptional time management skills. Outstanding analytical and organizational abilities. Proven track record of effective communication and relationship-building. Preferred Skills/Experience: 1-3 years of underwriting experience is highly desirable. Data language proficiency (SAS, SQL, Snowflake, etc.) strongly preferred. 1-3 years of leadership experience preferred. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred. This role has an anticipated salary range of $80,000-$95,000 annually, with final compensation determined by factors such as experience and internal equity. Additionally, the position is eligible for short-term incentives.
