Responsibilities We are seeking a compassionate Optometrist with a commitment to serving Geriatric and Underserved Communities. The Optometric services we provide support our mission of improving quality of life. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will enjoy competitive compensation and flexible scheduling, with no evenings or weekends, as we accommodate your availability. Logistics, Equipment, and Administrative Support provided. Key Responsibilities: Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Conduct eye exams using mobile optometric equipment and interpret diagnostic results. Diagnose and treat ocular diseases. Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses. Recommend follow-up care and treatments. Educate patients, families, and staff on vision care protocols and concerns. Deliver exceptional customer service through patient interactions. We Provide: Trained vision technician to assist. State-of-the-art portable equipment and supplies, including auto-refractor, retinal camera, hand-held slit light, and Tonopen. All scheduling and billing handled by 360Care. Laptop for documentation. Full office support, including a Care Coordination team for all consents, pre-authorizations, patient scheduling, post-op, and IT support. Field support and mentorship from the Clinical Director. Qualifications Requirements: Doctor of Optometry Degree Active State License If you are a licensed Optometrist in good standing at any stage of your career, we encourage you to apply!
