Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: Join us at Allegheny Health Network as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Quality, where you'll partner with key stakeholders and senior leaders to drive impactful analytics. Your role will encompass identifying analytics requirements, addressing clinical and operational challenges, and devising strategic plans for effective data analysis and presentation. You will need to think critically and comprehensively when tackling problems and be skilled in consolidating and normalizing data from various platforms and sources. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop robust business intelligence solutions by identifying detailed analytics requirements and utilizing appropriate data sources and technologies. Conduct thorough data analysis, employing relevant mathematical and statistical methods to ensure data integrity, including understanding the impact of outliers. Follow industry best practices and data visualization standards while creatively presenting information to serve the needs of our customers. Utilize a variety of analytics, statistics, and reporting platforms, selecting the most effective approach based on audience needs, analysis consumption, and future maintenance. Work collaboratively with the IT EDW team to architect data source changes that enhance system performance. Implement project management techniques to ensure timely execution and report regularly to stakeholders on progress and outcomes. Take on additional duties as required to support team objectives. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field, or equivalent experience as accepted by the company. 7 years of experience in analyzing operational data within a healthcare setting. Proficiency in Excel for analyzing large data sets, leveraging visualization techniques effectively. Preferred Master's degree. Clinical experience in a healthcare environment. Background in statistical or advanced mathematics coursework or practical experience.
