Comprehensive healthcare benefits (Rate based on experience and certifications) Shift: 2nd shift Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to enhance safety, reliability, and cost-efficiency throughout the fleet's lifecycle. Perform FAI/CVI (annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, and company-owned equipment following all regulatory standards. Execute preventive maintenance inspections to ensure proper functioning and reliability of fleet vehicles. Carry out quality repairs to maximize safety and reliability. Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups in a timely and efficient manner. Diagnose any malfunctions and conduct repairs conforming to manufacturer specifications. Document all work performed diligently on work orders. Develop proficiency in Sysco computer programs for maintenance tracking. Perform electrical meter testing and possess knowledge of electrical systems. Execute electrical repairs and welding projects as necessary. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED; Valid driver's license. Experience: Medium/heavy duty truck technical training, with either 1 year experience post-2-year technical education or 3 years experience in fleet maintenance and repair. Certifications: Knowledge of Annual Inspector and Brake Inspector Certification; ASE certifications in Automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks preferred; 609 HVAC Certification; proficiency in computer-based diagnostic software. Candidates must supply their own tools (Sysco provides major tools and diagnostic equipment). Sysco is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
