Location: Exeter, New Hampshire Days: Monday - Friday Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Your Role Includes: Embedding and preparing slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures, playing a vital part in the patient care process. Conducting and documenting scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal lab function. Recognizing when troubleshooting is necessary for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining tasks. Working efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment while upholding safety standards against biological and chemical hazards. Championing safety, compliance, and quality control practices. Qualifications: Graduation from a CAHEA/NAACLS accredited school of Histotechnology and HT (ASCP) certification. At least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing. Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent entity. Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. Proficiency in operating general laboratory equipment, such as telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in a high-volume laboratory setting with documented special stain and immunohistochemistry expertise.
