Clinicians must demonstrate TEE proficiency and maintain board certification while managing both standard surgical hours and call responsibilities. Call duties begin with two weekdays and every other weekend coverage, eventually transitioning to every third weekend with solo call responsibilities using pager or TigerConnect mobile application.
