Role Summary We are looking for a highly skilled and globally knowledgeable International Travel Planner & Itinerary Specialist to craft, book, and oversee intricate international itineraries. This role involves managing multi-destination and multi-modal travel, ensuring seamless transitions, maximizing value, and providing expert advice for clients worldwide. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with visa requirements, international booking systems (GDS), and a keen ability to source both luxury and value-based accommodations across the globe. Key Responsibilities Complex Itinerary Design: Develop customized, comprehensive multi-country and multi-stop itineraries, including the management of flights, rail passes, inter-country transfers, and various accommodation types (hotels, private rentals, specialty stays). Global Logistics Management: Guide clients on international travel logistics, covering travel documentation (visas, entry requirements), currency conversions, cultural insights, and suitable travel insurance for specific destinations. Value-Driven Sourcing: Use your expertise to secure optimal rates and premium services worldwide, ensuring value maximization regardless of the client's budget (e.g., best value for a European rail journey or VIP access at a luxury Asian resort). Booking and Fulfillment: Employ GDS and specialized international supplier portals to accurately book and manage all global itinerary components, ensuring thorough fulfillment and confirmation. Crisis Management: Offer proactive and immediate support for clients facing international travel disruptions, showcasing effective problem-solving skills to re-route and manage complex itinerary adjustments. Qualifications Strong geographical knowledge and familiarity with common visa requirements and international travel regulations. Proven capability to manage multiple currencies, time zones, and intricate budgets simultaneously. Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a seamless client experience.
