Planning, designing, and optimizing components of traffic control systems to meet current and future traffic demands. Computing time settings for traffic lights and speed limits using established formulas to ensure effective traffic flow. Creating detailed drawings of proposed signal installations or other traffic control devices utilizing drafting instruments or computer-aided design software.
