Company: Highmark Health Job Summary: Join our innovative team as a Product Manager for Social Health Initiatives, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of social health programs. You will define the value proposition for groundbreaking initiatives, craft a strategic vision, and develop an execution plan that highlights both social impact and financial benefits. Your expertise in social health will help guide the operations of current programs and foster partnerships with healthcare providers to seamlessly integrate social health into their practices. Your ability to communicate and align with strategic partners will be crucial in executing programs that deliver on our vision. Essential Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive understanding of company strategy and market position, creating a robust product vision and corresponding strategy to maximize value. Proactively identify future needs and areas for improvement using insights from metrics and qualitative feedback. Represent the product in governance meetings and clearly communicate priorities and decisions to diverse audiences. Act as the accountable owner for the designated product portfolio and cultivate both cross-product and cross-customer insights. Lead Agile development processes as the Product Owner. Manage the product backlog, utilizing internal feedback to maintain and prioritize it effectively. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Responsibilities: Create comprehensive program roadmaps in alignment with organizational objectives and market demands. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to pinpoint emerging trends and opportunities within the Social Health sector. Construct persuasive business cases to illustrate both social impact and financial returns for proposed programs. Oversee the lifecycle of Social Health programs, from ideation to launch and ongoing operations. Manage daily operations of existing programs, ensuring efficiency and compliance with protocols. Monitor program performance against key metrics and implement data-driven changes to enhance results. Identify best practices for program management and operational excellence. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to align resources and secure support. Develop strategies to help providers effectively incorporate Social Health solutions into their workflows. Ensure all Social Health initiatives are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. Proactively identify and address potential challenges in program implementation. Regularly report updates on program status to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders. Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Preferred: MSW MPH MBA Experience: Required: 3 years of product experience. To Include: 1 year of advanced domain experience. Preferred: 5 years of social health program design and execution. 3-5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams. 3-5 years in healthcare or health plan operations. 3-5 years in clinical quality. Licenses or Certifications: Required: None Preferred: None Skills: Strong business acumen, including P&L management. Excellent communication abilities. Proficient in conflict management. Language (Other than English): None Travel Requirement: 0% - 25% Physical, Mental Demands, and Working Conditions: Position Type: Office-based Some travel may be necessary between various work sites.
