TGB3 is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist to conduct Compensation & Pension Exams (C&P) for our esteemed military Veterans at various locations across the USA. Contract Length: 6-12 months with the option to extend Start Date: ASAP with rapid credentialing and training Hours: Part-Time Location: Lake Charles, LA Compensation: Competitive hourly rate Job Overview You will review relevant medical history and administer one-time, non-treatment vision compensation and pension exams for Veterans. Responses gathered during these exams will be recorded via a web-based examination form. You'll ensure that all documentation is completed electronically, with exams submitted to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determination. Qualifications We are seeking candidates who are currently licensed Optometrists or Ophthalmologists. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability are essential. Basic computer proficiency is a must. Experience with compensation exams or the VA is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
