The unit population includes cardiac and pulmonary patients. Candidates must have ventilator experience. The role requires a rotating schedule of mostly days with some nights as needed. Every other weekend and holidays are required based on unit needs. Floating to Progressive Care, Intermediate Care, and Medical Surgical units may be necessary. Patient ratios are 1:4 in the Progressive Care Unit and 1:3 in the Intermediate Care Unit. A 1:5 ratio is expected in the Medical Surgical Unit. Candidates must possess experience in Progressive Care and Intermediate Care. Ventilator experience is necessary to work in the Intermediate Care Unit.
