Purpose This role is a part of Ravago America's Domestic Transportation Department. The department supports approximately 30 of Ravago's different distribution channels and manages a transportation budget of nearly $150M (roughly 200,000 shipments delivered) annually. The Dedicated Fleets Coordinator is responsible for interacting daily with multiple carrier partners across multiple regions of the country. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate load planning occurs daily and following procedures to manage and communicate to interested parties any deviations that may impact our ability to meet requested delivery dates. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below. Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority) Working directly with multiple account managers, driver managers, and internal and external stakeholders Maintaining accurate and up-to-date TMS, including recording reasons and codes for shipments reported as delayed Providing timely status updates, notifications, and documentation to internal and external partners as requested Scheduling appointments for loading or unloading when necessary Tracking and tracing all shipments daily Actively participating in regional routing calls to ensure accuracy in planning customer deliveries Adhering to internal customer segmentation guidelines to evaluate and determine priority shipping assignments Monitoring and maximizing the utilization of fleet equipment assets Reviewing and processing invoices for approval and payment Facilitating positive carrier-warehouse relationships Other related duties that may be assigned Supervisory Responsibilities Not Applicable Contacts Internal: Transportation, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, Accounting External: Dedicated fleet providers, warehouses Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA) To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility. Must possess excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills Detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Work well under pressure Adaptable and flexible Able to efficiently work under minimal supervision Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications Education: A four-year college degree is desired or equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of related logistics experience is preferred Licenses / Certifications: Valid driver's license - required Language: Proficiency in English required Work Environment / Conditions The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience, and therefore Must be adaptable to work in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office.
