Nuclear Medicine Technologist - PET/CT (Travel Assignment) - Hummelstown, PA Experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist / PET/CT Technologist needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Hummelstown, PA. Quick Job Summary Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist / PET/CT Technologist (Travel) Location: Hummelstown, Pennsylvania (17036) - near Hershey, PA Assignment Type: Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist position Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,380-$2,550/week Start Date: June 1, 2026 End Date: September 1, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week Hours: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week On-Call: No call or holiday shifts required Parking: Free parking available Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT technologist experience preferred) Active CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT(NM) certification required Strong IV start skills and competency in IV/ oral contrast administration Experience with hot lab procedures and safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals Familiarity with MEDRAD FDG Injector preferred Knowledge of PET/CT protocols, patient safety, and radiation safety best practices Excellent patient identification, communication, and documentation skills Responsibilities Perform a high volume of PET/CT scans (up to 23 per day on one scanner) as a PET/CT technologist Administer radiopharmaceuticals, contrast agents, and follow hot lab procedures in accordance with protocol Operate and maintain PET/CT equipment including MEDRAD FDG Injector and ancillary imaging systems Conduct a variety of scans: Skull Base to Midthigh (with/without contrast), Whole Body, Limited infection studies, PSMA, NET, Cerianna, Brain, Amyvid, Sarcoidosis, and Myocardial Perfusion Ensure accurate patient identification, preparation, radiation safety, and monitoring throughout procedures Maintain detailed and compliant records, logs, and documentation per department and regulatory standards Collaborate with radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care Why This Travel PET/CT Opportunity - Hummelstown, PA Join a supportive, high-performing PET/CT department focused on diagnostic and molecular imaging excellence Day-shift schedule with no on-call requirements - ideal for work-life balance Free parking and a welcoming community close to Hershey attractions and regional amenities Opportunity to expand PET/CT and nuclear medicine skills, including experience with advanced studies like PSMA and Amyvid Perfect for technologists searching for travel nuclear medicine technologist jobs or Pennsylvania nuclear medicine jobs Apply now to be considered for this PET/CT technologist travel assignment in Hummelstown, PA.
