Position Summary The HR Generalist manages daily human resources operations and serves as a key point of contact for employees and management regarding HR policies, benefits, and compliance. This role supports a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR data administration. The HR Generalist helps ensure compliance with employment laws while contributing to a positive and productive workplace environment. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Staffing Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and background checks. Coordinate with hiring managers to support staffing needs. Onboarding & Offboarding Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation processes. Process employment documentation and maintain personnel records. Manage employee exit processes and conduct exit interviews. Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and HR-related concerns. Support conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations when necessary. Benefits & Payroll Support Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment activities. Support payroll processing and leave administration including FMLA and workers' compensation as needed. Compliance & Records Management Maintain employee files and HR records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Assist with HR audits and reporting. Performance Management Support performance review processes and documentation. Assist with employee development and training initiatives. Required Skills and QualificationsKnowledge Strong understanding of employment laws including FLSA and EEO regulations. Familiarity with HR best practices and HRIS systems. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Soft Skills High level of discretion with confidential information. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2-5 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role. HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus. IND2
