Join our dynamic scientific team as a Graduate Analytical Chemist/Scientist, where you will gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical drug product testing. This role is designed for a motivated entry-level scientist looking to launch their career within a high-standard GMP environment. Working under the guidance of senior staff, you will contribute to method development and validation activities that ensure the quality and safety of life-changing medications. ResponsibilitiesPerform GMP and non-GMP analytical testing on various pharmaceutical drug products to support project timelines. Support method development, optimization, and validation activities under the supervision of senior scientific staff. Document all experimental work accurately in electronic laboratory notebooks, ensuring strict compliance with data integrity and regulatory standards. Assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation, including laboratory reports and protocols. Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, potentially including HPLC, GC, and dissolution testing equipment. Adhere to all laboratory safety, quality, and compliance procedures, including specific protocols for handling Beta-Lactam and high-potency (OEB 4-5) compounds. Collaborate with team members to manage multiple tasks and ensure the efficient flow of laboratory operations. Utilize Microsoft Office and chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower) for data review and professional communication. EducationBS or MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline. ExperienceNo prior pharmaceutical industry experience is required; this is an entry-level position. Academic laboratory experience, undergraduate/graduate research, or relevant internships are accepted as substitutes for industry experience. Preferred: Academic or internship exposure to HPLC, GC, or Karl Fischer titration. Preferred: Familiarity with chromatography software (Empower or ChemStation) and introductory knowledge of GMP concepts.
