Ensures all equipment and supplies are kept clean and in working condition. Resolves patient satisfaction concerns in a timely manner. Monitors and replenishes supplies as needed. Coordinates the ATP-GEL process and compliance, reporting inspections to leadership to ensure staff notification and training, if applicable. Manages reporting logs in the department, including attendance, Hazardous Materials Monthly inspections, and Hazardous Books compliance. Develops annual goals and objectives for environmental services consistent with the organization's mission and strategic plan. Assigns duties to ensure work tasks are accomplished efficiently and that adequate staff and supplies are available for the shift. Prepares, evaluates, and controls the department's annual budget. Regularly surveys departmental procedures for adherence to acceptable cleaning practices. Supervises all staff by assigning work, training, hiring, evaluating performance, administering progressive discipline, and recommending termination as appropriate.
