We are seeking a skilled Conventional Machinist to join our machining team. In this role, you will set up and operate manual machining equipment to produce precision aerospace components used on aircraft around the world. This position is ideal for a machinist who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys working from detailed blueprints, and values accuracy and quality. You will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring parts are machined to exact specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:Set up and operate conventional machining equipment including manual mills, lathes, drill presses, and band saws Fabricate and machine components according to engineering drawings and specifications Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments to maintain precision and efficiency Perform routine in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and quality Troubleshoot machining issues and make corrections to maintain production flow Adjust machines for changeovers, new setups, or varying production requirements Adhere to all DG safety protocols as directed by company policies and the Facility Engineer/Safety Director. Perform additional tasks assigned by management Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required (Trade School or machining certification preferred) Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating conventional machining equipment Experience setting up and operating manual mills and lathes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Ability to visualize machining processes and part flow Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain standing for extended periods Basic computer skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, Not Required): Prior aerospace manufacturing experience Pre-Employment Requirements: All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
