Sr. Engineer

Pomona, CA (hybrid 2 days in office) Sr. Engineer (3194) Pay Rate: $75.00 - $87.00/hr Duration: 1 year Job Description: • Perform structural and line design analysis using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-Caisson serving as the go-to expert for modeling and analysis across transmission and distribution. • Ensure quality and safety compliance by overseeing QA/QC processes and adhering to company and site-specific safety standards. • Review and design pole foundations, providing expert guidance on both new installations and evaluations of existing infrastructure. • Support construction activities by coordinating with field teams to resolve design-related issues, conducting field inspections, and assisting with emergency restoration efforts due to wildfires, storms, or other incidents. • Maintain and update design specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver support to internal and external stakeholders. • Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to transmission engineering practice, mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
