About the job Supply Chain & Materials Planner - (Bilingual Spanish) Job Title: Logistics & Material Planner - Bethlehem, PA (Full-Time On-Site) Location: Bethlehem, PA Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site Overview: The company is seeking an experienced Logistics and Material Planner to join our Bethlehem campus team. This role is critical for managing production planning, inventory control, purchase orders, and materials management. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, bilingual (Spanish), and ready to drive projects to completion, including the implementation of our LGV robotic warehouse system. Key Responsibilities: Optimize inventory levels to meet production and customer demand. Manage SAP order creation, production planning, and end-of-month closeouts. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to ensure timely material availability and product delivery. Conduct weekly and monthly physical inventories. Analyze inventory obsolescence, excess stock, and material on order. Enter and update forecast requirements for critical and long-lead-time materials. Implement metrics reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Coordinate logistics with cross-functional teams to support operational efficiency. Manage the LGV robotic warehouse system implementation and operations. Requirements: Minimum 5+ years in logistics, materials planning, or supply chain management. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field. Bilingual (Spanish/English) required. Proficiency in ERP/inventory systems (SAP preferred), SM.I.LE80, and MS Office (Excel essential). Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience in production planning, purchasing, inventory control, and manufacturing or metalworking environments preferred. Must be able to drive projects independently from initiation to completion. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AGV/LGV material supply in industrial automation. Knowledge of SAP MM and PP modules. Previous exposure to production planning and materials management in industrial or packaging environments.
