Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer (GDPS OR Parallel Sysplex) Columbus, OH - Plano, TX - Jersey City, NJ - Tampa, FL- Onsite Note: Need Local and W2 Candidates only Required: • Design and implement GDPS solutions (Metro, Global Mirror, Metro Global Mirror, LCP, Test Copy Manager) to meet business RTO/RPO objectives. • Install, configure, and maintain IBM Z NetView and IBM System Automation for z/OS as part of the GDPS automation stack. • Configure and manage IBM DS8000 storage systems, including Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, FlashCopy, and Safeguarded Copy technologies. • Develop and maintain GDPS scripts for automation of planned and unplanned actions, system recovery, and site switch scenarios. • Monitor and troubleshoot GDPS environments using NetView panels, GDPS GUI, and Status Display Facility (SDF). • Participate in disaster recovery testing, failover/failback exercises, and continuous availability drills. • Collaborate with storage, network, and mainframe teams to ensure end-to-end resiliency and compliance with regulatory requirements. • Document configurations, procedures, and best practices for GDPS environments. • Provide technical support and training to operations and support teams.
