Network Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a Contract with a client in Rosemead, CA. This role will design and implement network architectures while managing firewalls, routing, and endtoend security solutions. Rate Range: $52/hour to $ 56 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Network Administrator job responsibilities include: Design and implement secure network architectures for datacenter and cloud environments, including L2/L3 configurations, routing protocols, and IP segmentation. Manage and administer Palo Alto firewalls, including policy design, NAT configuration, software upgrades, troubleshooting, and VPN setup. Support endtoend operations for network security technologies such as ACI, WAF, DDoS protection, NAC, cloud proxy, DNS, and load balancing. Perform deep network diagnostics using tools such as TCPDUMP, Wireshark, Splunk, NetScout, and packet broker switches for live traffic analysis. Lead priority incident resolution, rootcause analysis, and Level3/4 troubleshooting across complex network systems. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver solution designs, architecture planning, and operational improvements aligned with ITIL best practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline. 7-10+ years of handson experience in network security, datacenter networking, and cloud network operations. Proven expertise in designing and supporting enterprisegrade network security solutions across multivendor technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, ACI, WAF, NAC). Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to handle highpriority incidents, provide L3/L4 support, and interface effectively with clients for solution design and architecture discussions.
