BayCare is currently in search of our newest Acute Care Occupational Therapist Pool/PRN who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Mease Countryside Hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality health care to improve the health of our community. Acute Care Occupational Therapist Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs, mobility, and safety. Provide therapeutic interventions including neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive equipment training. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and case managers. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve independence and safety at home. Participate in discharge planning and recommend appropriate follow-up services.
