Job Title: Machine BuilderJob Description As a Machine Builder, you will perform end-of-line functional testing on fully assembled automated booths. You will inspect and verify electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems, ensuring they meet quality standards and functional requirements. Troubleshooting and partnering with assembly or engineering teams will be key in resolving any identified issues. Responsibilities Perform end-of-line functional testing on fully assembled automated booths. Inspect and verify electrical, mechanical, and integrated systems, including sensors, controls, wiring, and components. Validate equipment performance against quality standards, SOPs, and test procedures. Identify, document, and communicate defects, failures, or non-conformances. Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues and collaborate with assembly or engineering teams for resolution. Complete inspection checklists, test reports, and quality documentation accurately. Ensure all products meet safety, cosmetic, and functional requirements prior to shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe testing area on the production floor. Work cross-functionally to ensure accurate information is communicated internally regarding equipment status. Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues or process gaps. Perform other duties as assigned based on production needs. Essential Skills Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Experience with electromechanical equipment, testing, inspection, or machine assembly. Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and basic testing equipment (e.g., multimeters). Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, test procedures, and technical documentation. High attention to detail with a quality control / inspector mindset. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred Backgrounds: Maintenance Technician, HVAC Technician, Mechanic / Automotive Technician, Construction or Equipment Installer, Machine Builder or Technical Assembler, Manufacturing Quality Inspector. No degree required - hands-on experience and aptitude are valued most. High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach, and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working on the production floor. Tow motor experience preferred (certification provided on-site if needed). Why Work Here? Work Environment Work the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with opportunities for overtime, including some Saturdays as needed. You will be part of a stable workforce with little turnover, and benefit from a clean, organized production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macedonia, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
