Assistant Controller - Manufacturing Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA Work Environment: Onsite Relocation Offered About the Assistant Controller Role Our client, a global manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support plant-level financial reporting, compliance, and operational performance. This role partners closely with the Controller and plays a key part in month-end close, financial planning, and maintaining a strong internal control environment. Key Responsibilities for Assistant Controller Lead the monthly general ledger close and reconciliation process Prepare accurate financial statements, forecasts, and performance reports Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure completion of financial control procedures and maintain audit/SOX readiness Identify costsavings opportunities and promote best practices across the site Support internal and external audits Develop tools and reporting to enhance financial insight and operational decision-making Uphold strong compliance with corporate policies, ethics, and financial standards Required Qualifications for Assistant Controller Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong background in cost accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis Knowledge of federal, state, and local financial regulations Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Ability to meet exportcontrolled information access requirements Preferred Qualifications for Assistant Controller Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Effective communication and leadership abilities Experience with SOX compliance Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel ERP system experience #LI-MS6 #INFEB2026 #ZRCFS Assistant Controller Assistant Controller Assistant Controller Assistant Controller #assistantcontroller #accountingjobs #manufacturingjobs #relocationjobs #financeleadership EB-1343492091
