Hospital Radiologic Technologist (IR/Cath Lab Tech) - Travel Contract | Olney, MD Hospital Radiologic Technologist (IR/Cath Lab Tech) - Travel Contract in Olney, MD. ARRT-R certified Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab Technologist needed for a 13-week travel assignment near Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Job Details Location: Olney, MD 20832 (Montgomery County) - easy commute to Washington, D.C. and Baltimore Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,260 - $2,420 per week Contract Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 - July 6, 2026) Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 7:00am - 3:30pm (8-hour); Wed: 7:00am - 5:00pm (10-hour) Hours per Week: 42 hours (5 shifts per week) Setting: Hospital - Interventional Radiology (IR) / Cath Lab Employment Type: Travel contract - travel radiology job, IR Tech, Cath Lab Tech Shift Notes: No on-call or weekend shifts; every other holiday required Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology (IR) / Cath Lab experience Travel assignment experience required (travel radiology jobs) Active ARRT (R) certification (ARRT-R) Valid Maryland Radiologic Technologist license or Compact license Fluoroscopy permit required ACLS and BLS certifications required Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (?80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms) Proficiency with Philips Azurion C-arm and portable C-arm (Philips Azurion experience preferred) Cerner charting experience preferred Key Responsibilities Scrub and assist in Interventional Radiology, vascular, and pain management procedures as an IR Technologist / Cath Lab Tech Support tunneled catheter placements (mediports, permacaths, Hickman lines), embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter and PEG tube placements, PleurX catheter placements, angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, IVC filter placements, epidural blocks, and radiofrequency ablations Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment including Philips Azurion and portable C-arms Ensure accurate monitoring, sterile field maintenance, and proper equipment setup for adult and geriatric patients Perform EKG lead placement and identify life?threatening arrhythmias per ACLS standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, and vascular specialists) to deliver high-quality patient care Complete facility- and unit-specific onboarding and training modules within required timeframes Why Join This Travel Radiology Job Work as an Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab Technologist in a supportive hospital environment in Montgomery County, MD Opportunity to use advanced imaging technology (Philips Azurion) and expand IR procedural experience Travel contract designed for work-life balance - no weekends or on-call shifts Apply now: If you are an ARRT-R certified IR/Cath Lab Technologist with the required qualifications and travel experience, submit your resume or apply through this posting to join our healthcare team in Olney, MD (20832).
