You'll be the key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, from kickoff to turnover into operations, collaborating with teams globally across data centers. Responsibilities: Project Planning & Control - Develop, maintain, and report on project scopes, schedules, and milestones, closely collaborating with the project management team throughout the project lifecycle. Learnings - Continuously evaluate ongoing projects to identify efficiency improvements and document insights that aid project coordination and establish best practices in project management. Forecasting - Support the project controls team in financial forecasting and budget management, providing stakeholders with clear project status updates. Technical Reviews - Set key milestones for equipment purchases and participate in the evaluation and selection of contractors for cabling work. Metrics - Regularly report on project progress and risks to relevant stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making and enhance project success. Workflow - Coordinate with installation partners to track project milestones, ensuring effective project handoffs and verification of design delivery. Vendor Field Management - Supervise all site connectivity activities, nurturing significant relationships with installation partners while ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards. Quality Assurance - Conduct thorough inspections to confirm compliance with quality standards, guaranteeing installations meet specifications and local codes. Technical Field Lead - Take charge of evaluating products and methods, and clarify project scope and installation details. Technical Coordination - Innovate solutions for any in-field challenges, collaborating with design and engineering teams for seamless project execution. Communications & Cross-functional Engagement - Maintain open communication with construction partners to ensure all deliverables are met and logistics for material flow are coordinated efficiently. Safety - Uphold stringent safety standards in compliance with local regulations, promoting a culture of safety and open communication with vendors. Travel - This remote position requires a minimum of 50% travel. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of project management experience. Experience in effectively engaging and guiding stakeholders. Proven problem-solving abilities in construction environments. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suites. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in reviewing and leading installations to specifications. Background in data center development or construction management. Familiarity with Primavera 6. Experience managing IT or network deployment projects in critical environments. Track record of leading network or structured cabling infrastructure deployments. Expertise in fiber optic testing and troubleshooting at scale. Experience with outside plant cabling (OSP) deployments. Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes, including inspections. Public Compensation: $123,000/year to $176,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
