Inventory and Logistics Coordinator

General Summary: In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining vehicle inventory and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. You will be responsible for vehicle receiving and shipping, scanning inventory, and keeping the lot organized and clean while working under general supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Execute standard processes as instructed and participate in continuous improvement efforts with the team. - Provide first-rate customer service to both internal and external customers. - Maintain the cleanliness and security of the display areas and work zones. - Secure and receive vehicles shipped to CarMax. - Prep vehicle and title packets for shipping. - Scan vehicles to ensure accurate product status. - Perform washes and vacuums on customer returns and loaner vehicles. - Drive vehicles safely within the lot. - Support Auctions as needed. - Maintain a clean and organized workplace according to CarMax standards. - Complete other duties as assigned by team leaders and managers. Minimum Qualifications: - Valid driver's license and compliance with CarMax driving standards. - Ability to read and manage detailed records accurately. - A high school diploma or equivalent experience is preferred. - Capability to adhere to defined processes and safety guidelines. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely. Working Conditions: - Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions. - Flexibility in work hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays. - Activities will involve standing or walking for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. - You will be required to wear CarMax-issued clothing while working. Location: 8185 East Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, California, 95828. Hourly Rate: $20.59 Benefits: As a full-time associate, you will be entitled to: Accrue up to 48 hours of sick time per year. Earn between 80 to 200 hours of vacation time annually depending on your length of service. Receive pay for 6 paid holidays and an additional floating holiday each year.
