Job Summary and Qualifications As an RN in the Float Pool, under the supervision of the House Supervisor, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients. Responsibilities will vary based on departmental needs. Qualifications: Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years recent experience in two areas of hospital nursing patient care. Education Required: Applicants must have a minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Registered professional nurse license in the state(s) of practice or an active compact license. Current BLS certification. Annual NIHSS certification. Current ACLS/ALS for Healthcare Providers certification. Preferred: Certification in your specialty area.
