Regional CDL-A Driver Opportunity POSITION DETAILS Enjoy weekends at home with 2 full days off (48 hours) every weekend. Typical Schedule: Arrive home Friday night or Saturday morning, and return Sunday night or Monday morning. Take your truck and trailer home; please ensure you have parking available as we do not reimburse for parking fees. You will only take empty trailers home; an option to bobtail is also available. Average 1,900-2,200 miles each week. Drive primarily direct transit expedited freight, with 40% scheduled during night hours (9pm - 5am). Must be comfortable with transitioning between day and night driving with adequate rest. 85% of freight is drop and hook; 100% no touch freight (no lumpers or unloading necessary). Average length of haul is 400 miles, with additional pay for shorter loads (0-100 miles = $35, 101-400 miles = $25). Top performers in the Barr-Nunn Solo Company Drivers earned an average of $102,499 in 2024. Eligible for a safety bonus every 90 days: $700 without hazmat certification or $875 if hazmat certified. On Road Safety Bonus also available every 90 days for an additional $600. Detention pay starts after one hour at $15 per hour. Breakdown pay of $100 for the first day, then $160 for each subsequent day. Pay is calculated based on Rand McNally Practical miles for both loaded and empty routes. Maintain a strict cell phone policy with outward facing cameras in trucks. Hazmat drivers receive higher pay per mile and additional bonuses (hazmat certification not required). Orientation lasts 4 days, conducted in Charlotte NC, Columbus OH, or Manchester PA, with full expense coverage for transportation, lodging, and meals. Orientation pay of $300 provided per driver. Transition bonus includes PTO and On Road Bonus in the first paycheck, with additional On Road Bonus after 30 days. REQUIREMENTS Must possess a valid CDL Class A license.
