Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - SMH : L3RN : Cardiology RN Job Details:• Work rotating day/evening/night shift schedules• Weekend, holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs• 48 hours straight time consideration available• Provide competent care based on established standards under direction of Nurse Manager• Work on 25-bed unit caring for variety of surgical patients including thoracic, foregut, and plastics• Care for burn patients and manage 2 stepdown beds for post-operative patients requiring frequent monitoring• Specialize in management and care for Pulmonary hypertension patients• Develop diversified skill set working with variety of medical equipment, tubes, lines, and drains• May assume expanded role including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities• 2 years of nursing experience required• Telemetry experience required• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY) required• New York RN license required (ONLY NY licenses accepted) Facility:This major academic medical center operates a specialized 25-bed unit focusing on diverse surgical and cardiac care services.
