Job DescriptionThe purpose of this job is to oversee the direction, coordination, andcompletion of facility development and remodel projects from inception toconstruction completion while adhering to critical plan submittal deadlines. Manage complex new construction, facility remodel, majormaintenance, dealer conversion, and catastrophic damage projects upto point of construction start with no supervision.Interface with governing agencies to assess entitlement, permitting, andzoning requirements.Arrange and assess civil design, geotechnical, and environmentalinvestigations and provide cost effective direction to consultants basedon assessment findings.Layout new property and collaborate with Design team to completecivil, fuel, and architectural packages.Review design details with consultant team, Operations, and Executivemanagement teamEstablish and monitor project budgets.Support construction team in contractor bid process and/or bid projectsto appropriate contractors.Coordinate equipment purchases including quote solicitation, obtainingpurchase orders, and scheduling deliveries.Present projects to government agencies and residents whenappropriate; field and respond to arguments against companydevelopment initiatives.Participate in property negotiations when appropriate.Coordinate utility connections for new sites with appropriate providers.No limit of value of projects managed.Take the lead on property related legal matters such as right of waytakings and easements.Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensureguests and team members are supported at the highest level.Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies,and procedures.Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Qualifications Associate degree in related construction field requiredMinimum five years’ experience in development and projectmanagement related field including large format retail requiredIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsAbility to prioritize project specific tasks while instilling a sense ofurgency with the external and internal team participantsAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects successfullyStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong attention to detailEffective problem solving and situation analysis skillsStrong organizational and follow-up skillsAbility to respond to governing agency decisions and proposeresolutions that meet government requirements and companyexpectationsAbility to publicly present company projects before governmentagencies and local residentsTravel required up to 10%General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time Additional Information Nation-wide Medical Plan/Dental/VisionFlexible Spending AccountsWeekly pay401K matchTuition AssistanceAdoption AssistancePTOFuel Discount
