Job Summary As the Senior Project Manager in Traffic & Technology, you will lead a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional traffic engineering projects. This strategic role blends project management, technical expertise, client engagement, and business growth to ensure the successful execution of initiatives while fostering an environment of support and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include: Project Leadership: Direct and lead a talented team of traffic engineers from project initiation to successful completion. Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for clients, gaining an in-depth understanding of their needs and providing innovative solutions. Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance in traffic engineering, transportation planning, and ITS projects. Team Management: Mentor and support junior staff, fostering their professional development and upholding high performance standards. Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet client expectations and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Resource Allocation: Effectively manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion. Business Development: Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations. Collaboration: Partner with other departments, including Transportation, Environmental, and Site/Civil, to provide integrated solutions that meet client needs. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on traffic and transportation engineering regulations and best practices to ensure compliance in all projects. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues that may arise during execution to minimize impacts on outcomes.
