Join Our Team as an Insurance Fraud Investigator Marshall Investigative Group (MIG) is a premier investigative firm specializing in thorough investigations into insurance fraud claims. We are looking for self-motivated and experienced investigators to enhance our dynamic team. Our focus includes surveillance and mobile investigations related to bodily injury, theft, property damage, and financial loss. As an Insurance Fraud Investigator, you will conduct complex investigations into suspected fraud and suspicious activities. Your role is vital in detecting, preventing, and documenting fraud through a combination of fieldwork, interviews, and collaborative efforts. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth investigations related to suspected insurance fraud claims. Perform surveillance, accident scene investigations, and witness canvassing. Conduct recorded statements, interviews, and examinations under oath. Analyze policy documents, databases, and other sources for relevant information. Recognize red flags, compensability issues, and instances of misrepresentation. Create thorough and precise written investigative reports. Work collaboratively with adjusters, attorneys, analysts, and external experts. Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and discretion. Qualifications: Licensing: Must have or be eligible to obtain a Private Investigator license (experience with a licensed PI firm may suffice). CFE or CIFI certifications are preferred. Experience: Required previous SIU or insurance-related investigative experience. Driver's License & Insurance: Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance with 100/300/100 coverage required. Technology & Tools: Proficient in using a personal computer (MS Word), digital surveillance cameras, and investigative technology. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field preferred. Additional Skills: Strong observational skills and keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage extended surveillance assignments (8-10 hours per day, including weekends as necessary). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
