Join our dedicated team as an Accounts Receivable Cash Analyst and make a difference in our residents' lives. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our residents' payment needs are met with care and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Timely and accurate posting of all resident payments, including cash, checks, credit cards, and EFTs, to the respective accounts. Review EOBs and adjust balances for co-pays, deductibles, contractual adjustments, and more. Reconcile daily deposits with posted batches, addressing any discrepancies promptly. Contribute to month-end close processes by ensuring all cash activities are accurately recorded in accounts receivable. Scan, store, and maintain permanent A/R reports in compliance with company record retention policies. Cross-train and assist in other areas of the business office to help achieve departmental goals. Work collaboratively with facility staff to clarify payment sources and resolve discrepancies. Support internal audits by providing accurate data and timely access to records. Adhere to HIPAA and company confidentiality policies consistently. Maintain organized, accurate records for internal and external reviews. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and compliance-related activities as needed. Essential Qualifications: Experience in healthcare accounts receivable, billing, or cash posting is required; skilled nursing facility experience is highly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word). Experience with electronic medical billing platforms like PointClickCare (PCC) is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines. Strong organizational and analytical skills, especially in reconciliation tasks. Ability to prioritize independently while contributing to team objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and collaborative approach. Commitment to confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and resident rights. Ability to utilize a computer and phone for extended periods and move throughout the workday.
