Job Description We are looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our HID Onboarding and Integrations Team. This role focuses on enhancing digital experiences for both dealers and customers throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle, from order tracking and delivery scheduling to digital onboarding and early ownership experiences. Work Arrangement This position can be performed remotely or require a hybrid schedule reporting to our hub locations in Warren, MI; Sunnyvale, CA; or Mountain View, CA. Candidates residing within 50 miles of these locations should be prepared to report to the office three times a week as necessary. The Role As a Senior Product Designer, you will create intuitive and impactful dealer-facing digital products such as: Inventory management tools Sales tools Reporting dashboards Customer onboarding workflows including: Tracking vehicle order status Scheduling and managing vehicle delivery Implementing digital onboarding into vehicles and services Facilitating the adoption of vehicle features during early ownership You will convert complex dealer workflows into clear and efficient interfaces, ensuring seamless user experiences. What You'll Do Work closely with Research, Product, Engineering, and Design Systems teams to produce designs that are viable, scalable, and aligned with existing design systems. Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and interaction models that effectively communicate design intent and foster rapid iteration. Advocate for consistency, accessibility, and usability across all dealer tools and customer interfaces. Mentor and collaborate with fellow designers to elevate overall design quality throughout the organization. Support business and product teams in determining priority design solutions based on business impact and dealer needs. How Success is Defined Customers can easily track, receive, and onboard into their vehicles with minimal friction. Early ownership experiences enhance feature adoption, satisfaction, and long-term engagement. Dealer tools provide cohesive and efficient experiences aligned with customer-facing tools for sales and inventory tracking. A design team consistently produces high-quality work that raises industry standards across our organization. Strong collaboration between teams, recognizing design as a crucial driver of product strategy and business success. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related professional experience. 5-7+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio showcasing hands-on work and measurable product impact. Proficient in Figma and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to influence strategic decisions through exceptional design and participate as a design authority. Proven track record of leading design initiatives and elevating quality standards within teams. Preferred Qualifications Over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry or related technology fields. Experience enhancing design system consistency across products and interfaces. Strong knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design standards, with a commitment to applying best practices. Compensation The expected base compensation for this role ranges from $106,600 to $163,400, adjusted according to relevant factors.
