Job Description Join Blue Cross NC as a Senior Analyst in Marketing & Print Category Management, where you'll play a vital role in shaping supplier strategies and overseeing crucial sourcing initiatives. What You'll Do Lead the implementation of Blue Cross NC's enterprise sourcing strategy, aiming to achieve millions in annual savings. Act as the authoritative voice of Blue Cross NC, thoroughly understanding enterprise business needs and communicating these effectively to suppliers. Facilitate discussions with executives to align on sourcing strategies for essential business capabilities. Analyze and forecast complex market dynamics to share expertise and knowledge across the strategic portfolio of products and services. Conduct detailed sourcing events with strategic suppliers, including the development of project plans and evaluation criteria. Provide innovative solutions through comprehensive proposals and execute sourcing events that meet business requirements while balancing cost and delivery. Create and manage bid documents and requests (e.g., RFP, RFI, RFQ); manage the status reporting and performance metrics for sourcing activities of key vendors. Collaborate with stakeholders to source products and services, leveraging proven tools and analytics to achieve desired business outcomes. Evaluate sourcing results from a total cost of ownership perspective and offer optimization recommendations. Participate in cross-functional teams for complex vendor negotiations, providing specialized subject matter expertise and coordinating multiple arrangements. Oversee supplier performance management for the most significant and complex suppliers from both operational and risk management viewpoints. Cultivate successful relationships with vendor personnel to enhance engagement through both formal and informal interactions. What You Bring A Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree (where applicable). 8+ years of experience in a related field; alternatively, 10+ years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree. Salary Range At Blue Cross NC, we pride ourselves in offering competitive salaries that reflect market standards. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus, a 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits.
