Job Overview Join Relativity as a Senior Revenue Accounting Specialist, where you will be an essential member of our Revenue Accounting team within the accounting and finance function. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and make a significant impact. Responsibilities and Duties Analyze customer contracts to ensure compliance with revenue recognition under ASC 606, carefully documenting any nonstandard terms. Take ownership of key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close process, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting thorough variance analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable revenue insights and assist in structuring deals effectively. Prepare for external audits by ensuring comprehensive revenue-related documentation and controls are in place. Enhance and scale revenue systems, processes, and controls to support business growth. Engage in special projects relating to revenue accounting and the quote-to-cash cycle. Build and maintain strong relationships with various departments, including accounting, FP&A, sales, deal desk, and legal. Who You Are Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 2 years of experience in Revenue Accounting, preferably in a high-growth technology setting. Strong technical expertise in ASC 606 for Software and SaaS, especially with usage-based commit contracts. Familiarity with Revenue Systems like Workday Financials, NetSuite ARM, and Zuora Revenue. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Able to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining attentiveness to detail. Compensation Relativity is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This position offers a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range is between $74,000 and $110,000, with the final offer based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
