Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 9 PM. Standby call and holiday assignments may be required if needed. Travelers may float to other units depending on staffing needs. If the primary unit has reduced needs, assignments may be shifted to other areas to complete the contract. Experience with Epic or similar charting systems is required. Candidates must have substantial experience in outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and trauma imaging. Specific imaging skills required include barium swallow, various x-ray procedures, and portable imaging techniques. Understanding and implementation of radiation safety and infection prevention protocols are essential for this role. Telemetry competency in adult and pediatric patient care is a prerequisite. Candidates should be prepared for pass/fail testing as part of the onboarding process. This role is in a Magnet-designated facility recognized as a leading teaching institution. Weekend rotations and some holidays are required.
