Position Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Shift Supervisor! In this hands-on role, you'll provide essential management coverage and direct operations during your shifts. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, upholding cleanliness, hospitality, and product quality standards, while ensuring speed of service. As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead by example, assisting in the training of employees and responding to guest needs. You may also take charge of restaurant opening and closing tasks as necessary. Your mission is to create a safe, enjoyable work environment and ensure consistent customer satisfaction throughout your shifts. Duties and Responsibilities: Warmly greet customers and accurately take their orders. Prepare and package food and beverages following our restaurant’s high standards. Operate cash registers, handle payments, and provide change to guests accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant, including the kitchen, lobby, and restrooms. Assist with food preparation and dishwashing as needed. Restock inventory and supplies to ensure smooth operation. Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations. Promote new menu items and provide guests with recommendations. Assist with opening and closing tasks as required. Manage shifts to guarantee fair treatment of employees and adherence to workplace laws and regulations. Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to team members. Address any safety concerns within the workplace. Report serious issues to management and HR when necessary. Conduct daily food safety and preparation audits to maintain standards. Monitor daily inventory and ensure accurate cash handling procedures. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Preferably an internal candidate who has completed all required training and certifications. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Minimum of 6 months of experience in a shift management or supervisory role in the service industry. Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Ability to work flexible hours. Basic math and reading skills are essential. Strong oral and written communication skills. Other Requirements: Must demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude. Maintain good personal hygiene.
