CDL A Truck Driver - Daily Home Time

What You Need to Succeed: Minimum age of 21 years Valid Class A commercial driver's license Safe driving history Willingness to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days Pass a DOT drug test and have no positive tests or refusals in the last 3 years Valid DOT Medical Certification Card or ability to pass a company-paid DOT physical Flexible availability for a schedule of up to 12-14 hours a day, including various shifts Preferable Qualifications: Forklift experience Current endorsements for hazardous materials, tank vehicle, and doubles/triples About the Role: Enjoy the benefit of being home daily Compensation ranges from $34.60 to $40.18 per hour, with actual pay reflecting experience and skills Comprehensive health insurance from day one Life and disability insurance included Up to 13 days PTO in your first year 9 paid company holidays 401(k) plan with company matching Educational assistance available Position is exempt under the Motor Carrier Act Your Daily Responsibilities: Safely operate a tractor-trailer, including doubles and triples Deliver excellent customer service and generate sales leads Load and unload freight as required Physical Requirements: Lift and handle various objects frequently weighing up to 50 lbs, occasionally over 75 lbs Safely climb in and out of the truck cab and trailer Prolonged periods of sitting, and operating equipment and forklifts Ability to walk and stand on different surfaces, including uneven or slippery ones Perform physical activities including reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling Drive a tractor-trailer for up to 11 consecutive hours, transporting materials safely in any weather If you don't have your CDL-A yet, learn more about our Driver School.
