The Actuarial Analyst - Financial Analysis and Forecasting plays an essential role in analyzing financial data and forecasting trends to provide insights that inform strategic and operational decisions. In this position, you will establish key performance metrics, perform in-depth data analyses, and work collaboratively with business intelligence teams. By assessing industry trends and market dynamics, you will become a key contributor to our organization's financial health and competitive positioning. Your responsibility will include ensuring data integrity by developing effective processes and controls for accurate data flow. You will engage with various stakeholders to gather business requirements, troubleshoot data issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement efficient solutions for any discrepancies discovered. Understanding the strategic objectives of the organization will guide your decision-making, enabling you to work independently while actively seeking clarity. This role is critical in supporting transformative value-based initiatives, requiring collaboration with key business partners to provide analytical support for contract development, valuation of savings, financial accruals, and bid fulfilments. Utilize your analytical expertise to make a tangible impact! Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Completion of at least 3 actuarial exams Exceptional analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Dedication to enhancing consumer experiences Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Excel, SAS, VBA, and Databricks, with experience managing large datasets This is a remote role, but occasional travel to Humana's offices may be necessary for training or meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: The salary range indicates the starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting, varying based on geographic location, skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications: $80,900 - $110,300 per year. This position includes eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and company performance.
